Animal Ambassador Adventure
This private, behind-the-scenes experience invites your group to see the zoo from an entirely new perspective. Guided by one of our expert Animal Care Specialists, you will get to visit the areas where our beloved Animal Ambassadors live, sleep, and play. Discover incredible animals that aren't currently out in the main zoo exhibits and learn exactly what goes into their daily care, enrichment, and training.
Best of all, you have a chance to meet one of our amazing Animal Ambassadors up-close! It is a rare and exciting opportunity to learn their individual stories, ask our specialists all your wildlife questions, and capture the perfect photos of your family's animal adventure.
At the JMZ, animal wellbeing comes first! To ensure the highest standard of care, we always allow our animals to choose whether they want to participate. Because their daily health, comfort, and mood are our top priorities, we cannot always accommodate specific animal requests. Instead, the ambassador you meet will be specially selected by our staff on the day of your adventure!

Experience Details
- Price: $250 per group (Flat Rate)
- Admission: General Admission to the Museum & Zoo is not included and must be purchased separately for all guests
- Group Size: Maximum of 6 guests
- Note: To ensure safety and a quality experience, this limit is strict. All guests aged 1 year and older count toward the group total
- Smaller guests may need to be held by an adult.
- Time: 1 p.m. (Duration: 30 minutes)
