Step 1.Choose your Membership

Family Basic Membership

$172 ($202 for non-Palo Alto residents)

• Unlimited admission for 2 named adults and the primary account holder's children under the age of 18.
• Two free single-use guest passes, valid for one year

Family Plus Membership

$215 ($252 for non-Palo Alto residents)

• Unlimited admission for 2 named adults and the primary account holder’s children under the age of 18.
• Unlimited admission for 1 named adult caregiver
• Four free single-use guest passes, valid for one year

Supporting Membership

$465 ($502 for non-Palo Alto residents)

• Unlimited admission for 2 named adults and the primary account holder’s children under the age of 18.
• Unlimited admission for 1 named adult caregiver
• Five free single-use guest passes, valid for one year
• Provides a $250 tax-deductible contribution to the Friends of the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo, expanding access to nature and science education through community engagement and support of the JMZ.

Step 2.Discounted Membership

$54 ($84 for non-Palo Alto residents)

The Discounted Family Basic Membership is for income eligible families or families with members who have disabilities. Membership may only be purchased for those immediate family members who receive the benefits noted below, their children or siblings, and their parents or guardians. The discounted membership does not extend to friends or family members not in the immediate family.

Acceptable Proof of Eligibility

• EBT, WIC, BIC, Medicaid, Medical, or CA Healthy Families membership cards.
  
  
• Enrollment confirmation paperwork from Kaiser MFA, Kaiser Community Health Care, or the Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch Program.  

It is not necessary to provide proof of a disability.

Application Process

1. Provide proof of program eligibility by presenting one of the documents listed above via email to JMZMembership@paloalto.gov.  If you do not have email, please contact us at (650) 329-2111 or visit us in person and we will help you purchase a discounted membership.
2. Wait for your confirmation email from us with a coupon code you can enter when you purchase your membership to receive the discounted rate. It can take up to 72 hours. If you try to purchase your discounted membership without this code, you will be charged the full price for your membership. Refunds are not provided.

Step 3.Purchase Your Family Membership

Members enjoy unlimited visits plus other benefits, for an entire year. Members must make advanced reservations for their visits by reserving $0 tickets online AFTER they have purchased their membership and received their confirmation email.  Please note that Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.
