Help little explorers make big discoveries!
Help engage our visitors in various exciting and educational experiences across the Museum and Zoo! Our Discovery Guides lead a variety of fun, interactive games, activities, and challenges, and host different pop-up exhibits where they teach mini lessons to families. Discovery Guides often assist our Zoo staff with front-facing animal encounters--such as feeding our flamingos, or providing protection for our peacock, Apu--with occasional opportunities to help with behind-the-scenes animal care. Discovery Guides are asked to commit to volunteering monthly for at least one year. Open to individuals 15 years of age or older.
