Ways to Support the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo

The Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo has an 80-year+ legacy of inspiring a passion for science, appreciation for nature, and love of exploration for children of all ages. With your support, we can continue and expand our mission of engaging a child's curiosity in science and nature by providing early childhood experiences and science education to the community.

Make a Donation

The City of Palo Alto and the Friends of the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo work together to support and enhance the Junior Museum & Zoo, and to ensure that the Junior Museum & Zoo provides an equitable and meaningful experience to visitors of all communities, backgrounds, and abilities.

You may make a gift to the City of Palo Alto via check. Please make your checks out to the City of Palo Alto and write a comment on the check that designates which Junior Museum & Zoo Program you would like to support. You can mail your check or bring it in person to the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo at 1451 Middlefield Road Palo Alto, CA 94301.

You may make a gift to The Friends of the Junior Museum & Zoo's Annual fund. General operating support allows the Friends to allocate dollars where they are most needed and helps to fund programs that expand access to the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo and science education, like Super Family Sunday and Science Outreach.

You may also designate your gift to support the Commemorative Block Campaign for Exhibits. This helps fund exhibitions in our new and improved facility by making a commemorative gift to a donor block wall. Blocks may be custom inscribed with a name, a dedication, a memorial, or an inspirational quote. Your commemorative block will become part of a community donor wall and will be displayed for a minimum of 15 years.
